As one of the Middle East correspondent for France 24, Assia Shihab has been reporting on the Arab Spring since 2011 when Egypt, the country that she was born in, began their revolution. Moving on to cover the revolution in Syria, Assia relocated to the Turkish-Syrian border city of Antakya, making her one of the few reporters that are able to travel into Syria on a regular basis.
